Drill Writer - Jon Bay. This is my 16th year of teaching and my eleventh year of designing. I was a member of the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps from 1994-1996 and then was a member of the Glassmen visual staff from 1997-1999. I have my bachelors degree in Marketing from Indiana Institute of Technology. I not only design for marching band but also have designed for Winter Percussion and Winter Guard. I have designed for numerous state finalists and state champions both in Indiana and in surrounding states. I am married and have two wonderful children Christopher and Makinzie. I am very excited to be part of the Carroll band program. I consider it an honor to be part of such a great group.

Visual Instructor: Daniel Sattison I have been involved with marching band and color guard for 20 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Indiana University and am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Management at Indiana Wesleyan University. I am currently the Associate Dean of Student Affairs for Harrison College here in Fort Wayne. From 1993-2003, I worked for the Charger Pride as Assistant Director/Visual Coordinator. I have also done design and consulting work with other bands and guards in northeast Indiana. For the past 6 years, I have worked as a judge for marching bands (focused in the areas of Visual Execution and Color Guard) in the states of Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. I have a wonderful wife Julie and three beautiful children; Michaela 13, Danae’ 9, and Logan 8. I am thrilled to be back with an organization like the Charger Pride.
