2008 CARROLL WINTER DRUM LINE PERFORMS AT FOURTH STRAIGHT IPA STATE FINALS AT BEN DAVIS

2008 Carroll Winter Drum Line seniors (from left to right) Gwen Feuer, Austin Barron, Andy Roets

Finals held at Ben Davis High School on Saturday, March 15th.  Twenty six Drum Line's from the

state of Indiana performed in the Class A Finals.

 

The 2008 Carroll Winter Drum Line traveled to Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis on  Saturday,

March 15th to perform the completed "Mic Check" winter drum line show for the last time

at the Indiana Percussion  Association State Finals with a large field of twenty six Class A

drum lines from every corner of the state.

This was the fourth consecutive year that Carroll's Winter Drum Line has made an appearance

at the Indiana Percussion Association State Finals, making it the first Carroll band activity to do so.

Carroll finished with a placement of fifteenth out of the twenty six Class A drum lines which

performed.  DeKalb High School won the Class A State Championship.

Other area school's that qualified for the finals were Bishop Dwenger who finished in tenth, and

Elmhurst who finished in twentieth.  The order of finish along with the scores in  PSA Class  :

Carroll's fifteenth place showing capped of an excellent season in which the Drum Line placed

third at the Warsaw Invitational, third at the Norwell Invitational, fourth at the Taylor Invitational and

tenth at the Franklin Central Invitational.

2008 CARROLL WINTER DRUM LINE QUALIFIES FOR STATE FINALS AT IPA AVON PRELIMINARIES

2008 Carroll Winter Drum Line students (from left to right) Austin Barron, Evan Ronan, Andy Roets

State Preliminaries on Saturday, March 8th.  It was the fourth consecutive year Carroll's Winter

Drum Line has gone to the State Finals!

 

The 2008 Carroll Winter Drum Line traveled to Avon High School in Indianapolis on  Saturday,

March 8th to perform the completed "Mic Check" winter drum line show at the Indiana Percussion

Association State Preliminaries with a huge field of over thirty Class A drum lines from every

corner of the state. Eighteen units were given an Invitation to compete in the State Finals to be

contested at Ben Davis High School on March 15th.  Congratulations to

Chad, Mike, and all of the drum line students on qualifying for the State Finals again!

2008 Carroll Winter Drum Line students Elizabeth Mundroff, Amy Schwarz, Kasey Kibiger and

The 2008 Carroll Winter Drum Line traveled to Warsaw High School  Saturday, March 1st to

perform the completed "Mic Check" winter drum line show in a field of seven

winter drum line competitors from around the state, scoring a third place finish

and scoring an 74.50 in it's fourth competition of the 2008 season. 

The final placings in Class A-PSA competition:

Indiana on  Saturday, February 16th at Norwell High School to

perform the first two parts of the three part "Mic Check" in a field of eleven

winter drum line competitors from around the state, scoring a third place finish

and scoring an 65.40 in it's third competition of the 2008 season.

The 2008 Carroll Winter Drum Line traveled to the southeast corner of Indianapolis,

Indiana on  Saturday, February 9th at Franklin Central High School to

perform the first two parts of the three part "Mic Check" in a huge field of seventeen

winter drum line competitors from around the state, scoring a tenth place finish

and scoring an 67.10 in it's second competition of the 2008 season.

The 2008 Carroll Winter Drum Line traveled southeast to Kokomo,

Indiana on  Saturday, February 2nd at Taylor High School to

perform "Mic Check" in a large field of twelve winter drum line

competitors from around the state, scoring a fourth place finish and scoring an 74.1 in it's

first competition of the 2008 season.  Congratulations to

Chad, Mike, and all of the drum line students on a great show-let's keep it up!

2007 CARROLL WINTER DRUM LINE PERFORMS AT THE THIRD IPA STATE FINALS APPEARANCE

IN A ROW AT BEN DAVIS

The 2007 Carroll Winter Drum Line traveled to Ben Davis High School on Saturday, March

25th to perform their program called "Illusions" one last time along with the fifteen

other Winter Drum Line's from around the state of Indiana who qualified to compete in the

Indiana Percussion Association PSA Championship's.  The sixteen schools who performed

at Ben Davis had to qualify for the state final's at Avon High School on March 18th.

This was the third consecutive year that Carroll's Winter Drum Line had appeared at the

State Finals, this year scoring a thirteenth place finish.  The 2005 Carroll Drum Line scored a

seventh place and then a ninth place last year.  The State Champion this year in PSA Class was

Northview.  Four other area school's qualified for the finals with Bishop Dwenger in fifth,

DeKalb in sixth, East Noble in eighth, and Elmhurst in tenth.  The order of finish along with

the scores in PSA Class :

The 2007 Carroll Winter Drum Line traveled to Avon High School west of Indianapolis on

 Saturday, March 17th to perform "Illusions" at the Indiana Percussion Association State

Preliminaries a field of over thirty winter drum lines from around the state of Indiana.

  Carroll was one of twenty six schools to qualify for the

State Finals at to be held at Ben Davis High School to be held on March 24th.

Carroll had a score of 81.30, having consistently scored in the 80's in each invitational this year.

Indianapolis on  Saturday, March 3rd at Franklin Central High School to

perform "Illusions" in a massive field of twenty four winter drum line

competitors from around the state, scoring a fourth place finish and scoring an 82.80 in it's

second competition of the 2007 season.  The drum line improved nearly 3 points over their

season opening score of 80.00 earned at the Decatur Central Invitational.  Congratulations to

Chad, Mike, and all of the drum line students on a great show-let's keep it up!

The 2006 Carroll Winter Drum Line traveled to Ben Davis High School on Saturday, March

25th to perform their program called "Perpetuosity" one last time along with the seventeen

other Winter Drum Line's from around the state of Indiana who qualified to compete in the

Indiana Percussion Association PSA championship's.  The eighteen schools who performed

at Ben Davis had to qualify for the state final's at Avon High School on March 11th.

This was the second consecutive year that Carroll's Winter Drum Line had appeared at the

State

Finals, and once again also scored a top ten finish.   Last year the Drum Line scored a

seventh

place and followed it up this year with a ninth place with a score of 80.45 on Saturday. 

Three other area school's qualified for the finals with Bishop Dwenger in third, Elmhurst in

fourth,  and East Noble in thirteenth place.  The order of finish along with the scores
