What is Pep Band?

Pep Band is an extra-curricular activity open to any band student with the exception of, unfortunately, percussionists. Due to the nature of gymnasium accoustics, the number of percussionists we can use is limited to a select few. (However, most percussionists are extra busy with Winter Drumline  at this time of year anyways, so it's a good fit for everyone!)

We like to refer to ourselves as "The Best High School Pep Band in the Known Universe"
(modest, ain't we?  :-P ).

The Pep Band plays at selected Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Games throughout the basketball season and provides extra excitement and spirit to every game.
