Even More

There are even more opportunities to get involved in programs involving instrumental music at Carroll. Here are a few:

High School Musical - in late fall, Carroll's Fine Arts department puts on a theatrical musical. Many band students are needed to play in the pit orchestra. Not every instrument is used, so it is a bit restricted as to who can be in it. If you are interested, please see one of the band directors.

Show Choir Band - Carroll's award-winning Show Choirs are backed up by instrumentalists. If you are interested in being in the Show Choir Band, contact Mr. Scott Chapman.

Honor Bands - The band directors will let students know what honor band opportunities are in the area. These honor bands select the best instrumentalists in the area. Take advantage of these when they come up as they are a great exposure to great music, great directors, and great musicians. Isn't that great?

ISSMA Solo and Ensemble - In late January/early February band students participate in the district solo and ensemble event held at Carroll High School. Learning a solo and/or participating in an ensemble improves your musicianship and increases your skills in many areas.

Private Lessons are available for most instruments. Contact Mr. Phil Frazier if you are interested.
